I am a dog owner. Have been my whole life. My earliest memories involve a little Cock-A-Poo named Fluffy, smart as can be. Later, April, a sweet little Beagle-Terrier mix.  I was three when I woke up to the sweet surprise of a puppy. Amazingly, she was still around when I went to college and met my future husband. When I left home, I thought I’d have a long break from dog hair. I was wrong. My husband picked out his ideal manly dog. Kodiak was a Lab, Chow Chow Malamute born in Alaska where we were stationed with the Army. She may have started out as my husband’s dog, but Kodi soon became my constant companion on adventures far from home. Finally, I have the pleasure of getting to know Otis, my funny little Boston Terrier puppy. A true family dog, loyal to each one of us. His happy welcome at home everyday can make me smile even after the worst of days. Life would not be complete without my dog.
